The podiatrist differs from others who care for the foot – such as pedicurists, chiropodists, orthotists, and nurses specialized in foot care – by an advanced training to the level of a doctorate in podiatric medicine.

He therefore has the ability to diagnose various foot conditions and to provide appropriate care.

It oversees the practices of podiatrists and ensures strict compliance with its standards. In so doing, it protects the best interests of the patients. It also certifies the completion of a doctoral training program of podiatric medicine at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR).

A consultation in our clinic includes fixed fees that may be subject to change depending on the type of intervention, whether samples are taken, the nature of the treatment, etc.

The costs related to examinations or other forms of intervention carried out as part of your visit are not covered by the Régis de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ); however, they are compensated by most private insurers.
